Trump can’t build the wall because even if he wins, the D’s will win the Senate or hold their ground. Any candidate will need a filibuster proof majority to get much of their agenda passed that doesn’t fall within executive power. The D’s are not going to make a deal to build the wall, and neither will R’s like Lindsey Graham.
The wall is only, you know, one of the main reasons people are supporting him.
